Summary of Duties:

• Conduct all tests that are offered in the Pulmonary Function Laboratory.
• Set up and carry out calibration/quality control of testing equipment.
• Follow the laboratory’s standardized procedures and practices.
• Maintain all documentation, records and supply inventory.
• Ensure confidentiality and safety during patient testing.
• Perform related responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist, RCPT(P) - An active member in good standing with the Canadian Association of Cardiopulmonary Technologist.
• B.Sc. in Biological Sciences or related disciplines
• Minimum 1 year experience      
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills, problem solving and time management skills
• Ability to adapt to change, innovate and be flexible in an ever-changing environment
