Salary Range: $28.883-$29.934/hr

Summary of Duties

Working with the interprofessional team, the Patient Service Partner is responsible for supporting the care of adolescent and adult patients who have been diagnosed with a major mental illness

Qualifications/Skills

  • Minimum Grade 11 or equivalent as recognized by the Province of Ontario Ministry of Education
  • Applicants who have a PSW certificate or completed the Sunnybrook PSP (formerly PSA) course will be given priority
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Recent experience as a PSP at SHSC preferred
  • Must possess an Infection Control Core Competency Certificate
  • Ability to work well as part of an interprofessional team
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and to handle various tasks within a limited time frame
  • Liaises with patients and visitors on a regular basis demonstrating excellent customer service
  • Mental Health experience an asset
  • CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention), Gentle Persuasion (GPA) an asset
