The Laboratory Manager is responsible for management of the laboratory space, ordering and organizing all supplies and equipment, under the supervision/direction of a Scientist.
Summary of Duties:
- Develop and maintain the laboratory, including the inventory of supplies and equipment and the ordering of these supplies for group members.
- Keep accurate records of laboratory activities, such as documenting the arrival of packages
- Work safely in a laboratory environment and be aware of specific safety considerations. On occasion work may be performed in a clinical environment.
Qualifications:
B.Sc., B.A.Sc. or equivalent from a university recognized by the University of Toronto.
Experience in a laboratory environment and GCP training are assets.
