We are seeking an Integration Analyst to support the design, build, testing, deployment, and sustainment of system interfaces across the Oracle Health ecosystem and connected clinical, diagnostic, and enterprise applications. This role plays a critical part in ensuring reliable, secure, and compliant data exchange across Sunnybrook’s complex healthcare environment.
The Integration Analyst will work closely with Application Administrators, Integration Architects, Data & BI teams, vendors, and clinical stakeholders to deliver stable and scalable integrations before, during, and after go-live.
Key Responsibilities
Integration Design & Build
- Configure, develop, and maintain system interfaces using Rhapsody Integration Engine.
- Support inbound and outbound integrations between Oracle Health Millennium and third-party systems (e.g., Meditech, lab systems, diagnostic imaging, registries, research platforms).
- Implement and support messaging standards including HL7 v2, FHIR, APIs, and flat file integrations.
- Collaborate with Integration Architects and Interface Developers to align interfaces with enterprise integration patterns and standards.
Testing & Deployment
- Participate in unit, system, integrated, and end-to-end testing of interfaces.
- Support data validation, reconciliation, and error handling during testing and cutover activities.
- Assist with production deployment, go-live readiness, and post-go-live stabilization.
Monitoring & Support
- Monitor interface performance, message queues, error logs, and data flows.
- Provide Tier 2 / Tier 3 support for interface-related incidents and escalations.
- Coordinate issue resolution with vendors, Oracle Health, internal IT teams, and external agencies.
Data Integrity & Compliance
- Ensure accurate, complete, and timely data exchange across integrated systems.
- Support patient medical record and visit data movement across systems in coordination with Oracle and clinical stakeholders.
- Ensure integrations comply with PHIPA, privacy, security, and cybersecurity standards.
Documentation & Change Management
- Maintain interface specifications, data mapping documents, configuration guides, and operational runbooks.
- Participate in change control, release management, and environment promotion processes.
- Support knowledge transfer and transition to sustainment teams post-implementation.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with Application Administrators, Data & BI teams, Project Managers, and clinical stakeholders.
- Participate in cross-functional workshops and technical working sessions.
- Provide integration input into workflow design and downstream reporting considerations.
Qualifications & Experience
Required
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Health Informatics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3–5 years’ experience in healthcare system integration or a regulated enterprise environment.
- Hands-on experience with Rhapsody Integration Engine or any other enterprise interface engines (required).
- Strong working knowledge of HL7 v2 messaging and interface specification document development, interpretation and maintenance;
- Experience supporting integrations involving EHR/HIS systems.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work in fast-paced clinical environments.
Preferred
- Experience with Oracle Health / Cerner Millennium.
- Familiarity with hospital systems such as LIS, RIS, PACS, pharmacy, diagnostic, or research platforms.
- Experience supporting cutover, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization for large clinical implementations.
- Understanding of healthcare data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
