Summary of Duties: 

  • Responsible for the efficient day-to-day operations within the Division of Anatomic Pathology
  • Receives, accessions, requests and returns pathology consultation material
  • Performs digital slide
  • Works with medical staff, management, peers to support the patient care activities of the Division
  • Interacts collaboratively and professionally with clinical providers and external services

 

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Completion of a recognized medical office administration program with medical terminology course preferred
  • Experience in healthcare industry
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Microsoft Outlook
  • Typing speed of 50 words per minute
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
