The Department of Medical Imaging at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre is recruiting a locum Radiologist in the Cardiothoracic Division. The anticipated start date is 1st July, 2026 or sooner.
Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre (SHSC) is a fully affiliated hospital of the University of Toronto with over 1,212 total beds, of which 677 are dedicated to acute care. The radiology practice is composed of more than 50 subspecialty radiologists.
The division of Cardiothoracic performs imaging for Odette Cancer Centre, one of the largest cancer centers in Canada, and Schulich Heart Centre, one of the largest cardiac centers in Ontario. There also high volumes of trauma thoracic imaging as Sunnybrook Emergency Department is Canada’s largest Level 1 trauma center. The candidate will be involved mainly with thoracic imaging activities including CXR and CT. The candidate will be required to work day shifts.
The qualified applicant should hold a Fellowship in Diagnostic Imaging from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, or equivalent, and be eligible for have medical licensure in the Province of Ontario, with sufficient experience to perform subspecialty work in thoracic imaging.
