The DAN Women & Babies Program is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and experienced individual to join a qualitative research team from the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The successful candidate will work directly with the Principal Investigator to conduct phenomenological thematic analysis of transcribed interviews. May also compile research findings and assist with manuscript writing.
Responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
- Conduct thematic analysis of interview transcripts using phenomenological approach
- Write up findings
- Contribute to manuscript writing.
Required Qualifications / Skills:
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in health-related field or equivalent (an MSc degree is an asset).
- 2+ years research assistant experience in qualitative research preferred
- Phenomenology in healthcare setting preferred.
- Understanding of project management processes and methodology.
- Previous experience with/knowledge of research regulations (ICH-GCP, TCPS2, N2 SOPs, Health Canada Div 5).
- Computer proficiency including advanced skills with MS Office applications.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficient oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
