Summary of Duties:

 

The successful candidate will develop advanced image acquisition, reconstruction and processing techniques for magnetic resonance spectroscopic imaging.  Projects include: 1) correction of gradient imperfections for improved image reconstruction; and 2) development of neural network models for generating optimized radiofrequency (RF) pulses for MRSI.

 

Qualifications:

 

· Successful completion of at least one year of undergraduate studies in physics, mathematics or engineering

· Experience in scientific research is an asset

· Experience with computer programming in Python, Matlab or similar.

· Strong interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.

· Strong oral and written communication skills and attention to detail.

· Demonstrated proficiency in mathematics and physics

· Experience with machine learning, deep learning, and neural network models is an asset.
