We currently have a Regular Full Time opportunity for a Project Leader II in our Information Services at our Bayview Campus.

Hours of Work: Weekdays: Mon-Fri; Days; 8 hrs; As per schedule

Summary of Duties

Reporting to the Director, MyChart Program, Health Records & Patient Registration Services eHealth Strategies & Operations, Information Services, the successful applicant will have experience and solid knowledge with corporate clinical systems and workflow assessment/analysis to provide user support and prepare for implementations, upgrades, documentation in a clinical environment.

  • Provide pre/post-implementation enhancements or resolutions
  • Act as liaison between users, Stakeholders and Information & Technology Services

Project Planning

  • Liaise with multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Prepare project documentation and plans outlining the detailed activities, resources, constraints and training required to support and roll out solutions
  • Maintain all related project documentation and communication

Project Analysis

  • Provide work flow assessments/analysis
  • Identify risks and solutions
  • Bring forward mitigation plans and opportunities
  • Develop business cases and planning
  • Define project scope and user requirements
  • Assist with current process review and redesign as needed.
  • Establish and develop business requirements document as required
  • Work closely with various teams as subject matter expert of business requirements
  • Determine hardware, software requirements and facilitate IS support to implement
  • Identify and define technical system inter-dependencies (i.e. interfaces)

Project Implementation

  • Organize/assist with test plans with expected results
  • Complete implementation activities as defined
  • Engage clinical and administrative end-users in the collection of meaningful information/feedback
  • Complete promotional and client engagement activities, as required
  • Prepare and facilitate presentations to key stakeholder groups
  • Provide/facilitate support for user testing
  • Identify and implement training requirements

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Degree or Diploma in Business Analysis, Project Management, Health Informatics experience or a combination of education an experience will be considered
  • 3-5 years eHealth systems experience
  • 3-5 years of related experience in a hospital setting working directly with stakeholders, client engagement and support
  • Must have excellent written, presentation and oral communication skills, and exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to balance multiple clients, initiatives, support, projects with tight timeframes, strict budgets and diverse stakeholder groups
  • Superior problem identification, analysis and resolution skills
  • Excellent customer service and engagement skills
  • Strong understanding of clinical work flow requirements
  • Strong Team player and work well independently
