Summary of Duties
We are seeking RPNs to work in various units assisting with procedures and providing Person Centred Care. The RPN will participate as a member of the interprofessional care team in a manner that reflects the Hospital’s philosophy and mission of service, and which promotes and maintains good public relations with patients, visitors and hospital staff.
Qualifications/Skills
- Grade 12 as recognized by the Province of Ontario Ministry of Education
- Graduate of R.P.N. course with current registration with CNO
- Recent accute care experience an asset
- Demonstrated technical competence
- Ability to work under stress
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent critical thinking, problem solving and ability to prioritize in a stressful environment required
- Competent computer skills required
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Proven ability to promote Person Centered Care in a clinic environment Expertise in the performance of gynecological operative techniques
- Ability to work effectively in a Patient-Focused Care environment within a multidisciplinary team, including students
- Demonstrated interest in personal professional development
- Demonstrated commitment to Person Centred Care approach and principles
- Demonstrated leadership/and strong conflict management skills required.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
