DESCRIPTION: 

The Sunnybrook Department of Psychiatry Partnership is currently recruiting full time Medical Billing Administrator for our midsized medical practice.  The position provides billing support to multiple physicians, fellows and residents in the department.  The billing administrator will be working alongside the billing coordinator.  

 

KEY DUTIES:
OHIP billing and submission of third party billing, corrections and follow up of claim error reports including OHIP manual reviews, remittance advice inquiries, reconciling accounts receivables, and monthly billing summary to physicians and support staff. Responding to phone, e-mail and fax inquiries and other medical billing related administrative duties as assigned. Maintaining professional communication with staff (physicians, fellows, residents, students, co-workers, staff and management).  Other duties as assigned by department.


QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience with OHIP billing (Accuro preferred). Psychiatry clinic billing experience preferred.  Post-secondary degree or diploma in Office Administration, or recognized equivalent, or a combination of education and experience. Advanced working knowledge of MS office. Excellent interpersonal skills, time management skills and problem solving skills to meet tight deadlines. Excellence in written and oral communication skills.  Resourceful and good team player skills.
