Paramedic Objective Structure Clinical Examination (OSCE) Standardized Service Provider
CONTRACTOR POSITION
Department: Sunnybrook Centre for Prehospital Medicine Regional Base Hospital Program
Hours of Work: Approximately 6-10 hrs per OSCE event
Location: 77 Brown’s Line, Toronto, ON M8W 3S2
Shifts: Per OSCE event calendar (self-booking based on contractor’s availability)
Compensation: $20.00/hr
SUMMARY OF CONTRACTOR DELIVERABLES
Contractors will participate in simulations for paramedic candidates in the Objective Structured Clinical Evaluations (OSCE), conducted by the Sunnybrook Regional Base Hospital program.
A contractor will perform roles in the simulation, including standardized partner, patient, caregiver, bystander, or firefighter, as directed by the Base Hospital staff.
CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
- For clinical roles (paramedic partner, fire, healthcare provider), completion of 6 months in a primary care paramedic program in Ontario.
- For non-clinical roles (patient, family member, bystander), a minimum of grade 11 or equivalent.

CONTRACTOR ORIENTATION AND DOCUMENTATION DAYS
Orientation days for contractors who meet the criteria will be scheduled for late December 2024/early January 2025.
