Salary Range: $23.558-$23.892/hr

Summary of Duties

Transport patient meals, nursing pantry supplies to and from nursing units. Operate/maintain re-therm equipment and tow motor. General cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, ware washing, and other cleaning duties as required.

 

Qualifications/Skills

  • Must be a licensed tow motor driver

  • Must have one year of practical experience in a food service environment

  • Must have Food Handlers Certificate

  • Must be able to perform the essential physical duties of the job

  • Must be able to lift 35 pounds

  • Must be trained in WHMIS

  • Must have positive work attendance record

  • OSSGD or equivalent as recognized by the Ministry of Education

  • Adhere to all Food Safety, and Quality Assurance policies and procedures

  • Maintain established sanitation and safety standards in the care and cleaning of food service and equipment

  • Ability to read, write and speak English competently

  • Ability to work effectively in a strong team environment

  • Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills

  • Operational knowledge of Burlodge re-therm equipment

  • Operational knowledge of tow motor

  • Demonstrated ability to follow all new and existing Department policies and procedures
