Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Operational Leadership
•    Serve as the subject matter expert and primary technical authority for all assigned applications within the Oracle Health ecosystem.
•    Lead the development and enforcement of application governance standards, including configuration management, change control, and release processes.
•    Represent the Application Administration function in enterprise architecture and integration committees.
Lifecycle Management & Technical Oversight
•    Direct the installation, configuration, and maintenance of enterprise and departmental applications.
•    Define upgrade strategies, version control procedures, and validation protocols with Oracle and external vendors.
•    Oversee environment management across test, training, and production instances, ensuring capacity, performance, and security standards are met.
Integration & Architecture Alignment
•    Design integration approaches for third-party systems (e.g., Meditech, diagnostic tools, research databases) using HL7, FHIR, and API frameworks.
•    Partner with the Integration and Data Architecture teams to ensure consistent data exchange and adherence to enterprise standards.
•    Provide technical direction on middleware configuration (Rhapsody, Cloverleaf) and interface specifications.
Security, Compliance & Documentation
•    Ensure all applications adhere to PHIPA, cybersecurity, and privacy standards.
•    Establish and maintain documentation repositories, configuration baselines, and audit records.
•    Collaborate with Information Security and Privacy teams to support Zero Trust and identity governance initiatives.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Change Enablement
•    Partner with business owners, clinical leaders, and IT stakeholders to align application roadmaps with organizational strategy.
•    Support organizational readiness and end-user enablement during build, validation, and go-live phases.
•    Act as the escalation point for critical application issues impacting operations.

Qualifications & Experience

•    7+ years of progressive experience managing enterprise or clinical applications in a healthcare or regulated environment.
•    Proven expertise in application lifecycle management, system integration, and environment governance.

•    Familiarity with Cerner/Oracle Health, Meditech, or other HIS/EHR systems required.
•    Strong knowledge of HL7, FHIR, APIs, and middleware/integration platforms (e.g., Cloverleaf, Rhapsody).
•    Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
