Job Summary and Qualifications:

- The PAIL Network Regional Representative works to ensure that peer support volunteers with a lived experience of pregnancy and/or infant loss have a mentor to facilitate their role. The PAIL Network Regional Representative will promote the bereavement support provided in their community by participating in volunteer recruitment, PAIL Network awareness and promotion, and mentoring current volunteers. This role is only applicable to people who have a lived experience of pregnancy loss or infant death.
Duties include:

- Supports in person Circles of Support in the region: includes finding a location, submitting insurance certificate requirements and/or agreements to PAIL Network
- Promotes volunteer recruitment efforts in the region, including hosting information sessions for community agencies and other stakeholders
- Regular check ins with active volunteers to encourage self care and ongoing educational development
- Offers in person opportunities for PAIL Network volunteers in coordination with the Volunteer Coordinator
- Be available by email to answer questions about group and/or phone process, structure, curriculum topics etc.
- Hosts October 15th events and supports other communities in the region to host events to recognize Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day
- Support the awareness and advocacy work of PAIL Network
- Offer assistance with local events held for pregnancy and infant loss to provide a PAIL Network presence
- Post approved information about PAIL Network in community areas, in local media, and in social networking groups
- Distribute PAIL Network brochures and encourage the use of PAIL Network booklets to local health care professionals
- Organizes and hosts time for all peer support volunteers in the region to connect with each other for networking and idea sharing
- Ensures volunteer participation in required PAIL Network activities
- Participates in the design, implementation, and evaluation of family support programs offered by PAIL Network in coordination with the Family Support Coordinator
- Actively supports the vision of PAIL Network

- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Strong team player
- Proven ability to resolve conflict and problem solve
- Proficiency in MS Office, PAIL Network portal / database
