Sunnybrook Research Institute is the research enterprise of Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, a teaching hospital fully affiliated with the University of Toronto. Research spans three Toronto-based campuses, eight programs and three scientific platforms. Our main aims are to understand and prevent disease, and to develop treatments that enhance and extend life. Our vision is to invent the future of health care. Summary of Duties:

  1. Quantitative Analysis of MRI images of brain cancer.
  2. Development of AI algorithms for automatic segmentation of brain in brain metastasis patients.
  3. Development of semi-automatic AI algorithm for stratification of brain metastasis patients with tumour progression following stereotactic radiosurgery.
  4. Maintaining BM  patients database and updating AI training algorithm.
  5. Manuscript and poster preparations.

 

Qualifications:

  • One year of experience in working in Research Environment
  • Successful completion of Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science or Physics is considered an asset
  • Two years’ experience in MRI image analysis
  • Experience with Python, Matlab, AI algorithms, statistics and MRI image analysis
  • Strong interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and attention to detail
