Position Overview:
Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre is looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking leader to join our team as the Director of Virtual Health. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping and executing our virtual health strategy, bringing healthcare services into the digital age, and improving access to care for patients. You will lead a dedicated team and collaborate with various departments to drive the adoption of virtual care solutions that enhance patient experience, clinical outcomes, and operational efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities:
•    Develop and implement the Virtual Health strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
•    Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of virtual care programs and services.
•    Collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to drive virtual health adoption.
•    Lead a team of professionals and ensure they have the resources and support needed for success.
•    Evaluate and select technology solutions that support virtual health initiatives.
•    Develop and maintain quality and performance metrics to measure the success of virtual care programs.
•    Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in virtual health.

 

Qualifications:
•    A Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field.
•    A minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare leadership roles.
•    Proven experience in developing and implementing virtual health programs.
•    Strong understanding of healthcare technologies and digital health solutions.
•    Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
•    Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
•    Strong project management and strategic planning skills.
