Summary of Duties

  • Ensure the electronic scheduling system (ESP) is set up to optimize process efficiency and data quality.
  • Develops and Maintains Key Performance Indictors and analysis.
  • Analyzes workforce data (vacancies, overtime, sick, vacation, etc.) and provides timely, comprehensible, and relevant information for improvements that are in alignment with the organization’s business intelligence process.
  • Support integrity of all HR data, including the accuracy of information inputted, regular auditing, and overall flow into the ESP system.
  • Creates ad-hoc, data-driven reports that clearly identify and demonstrate trends for senior leadership based on the request received.
  • Facilitates and supports the Critical Care Staffing Huddle during regular working hours to help ensure consistency and transparency in scheduling decisions.
  • Responsible for maintaining and monitoring skills sets in order to adequately provide coverage for Systems Administrator(s) when absent. 

 

Qualifications/Skills

  • College Diploma required.
  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Statistics, or related field preferred.
  • 3 years progressive experience in analytics workforce planning or HRIS systems.
  • Broad understanding of collective agreements, workforce planning principles, trends, and best practices.
  • Experience working with Kronos Workforce ESP considered a significant asset.
  • Experience with transitioning from one software system to another considered an asset.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
